About Course

This class teaches the fundamentals of carpet cleaning and upholstery with a hands-on approach. Topics include fibre types and characteristics, fibre identification, carpet construction and styles, dyeing at the mill, soil characteristics and the chemistry of cleaning.

This course will also introduce the technician to the 5 methods commonly used in carpet cleaning and upholstery as well as the basics of running a business.

Also, learn about fine fabrics such as curtains and how lucrative they can be.
